The CCD sensor turns in warm, nostalgic colors even if overall sharpness is soft, the sliding cover design is satisfying to use, and in any of the five color options it looks genuinely charming rather than generic. The controls are fiddly and the image quality won't win awards, but that was never really the point — and that specific combination of limitation and personality is exactly what makes it interesting today.
